Casa da Suite Mirabello

Apartment was clean and modern with large balcony. Restaurants close by and short walk to metro.

The location was convenient to the local grocery and metro. The rooms were nice, and the water was hot and had good pressure. The air conditioner was better than any other store or restaurant in the city.

Clean, good value for traveling with a group. We had two apartments.

We had a very nice stay at Casa da Suite Mirabello. The apartment was nice and spacious. I was expecting 2 bedrooms but it was one bedroom and one room on the mezzanine which was absolutely fine. The apartment was overall pretty clean though it did smell of mold. I think this is simply due to the weather being super hot and humid, not much you can do about it and honestly it was not that bad. They appliances were great and the beds were comfortable. I got very scared after booking because I saw lots of bad reviews that had been posted the day I booked or the day after I booked our stay. Turns out most of them were complaining about the check-in being complicated and the deposit. I think a lot of people don't pay attention or read everything properly. It is stated on the Booking.com page that there is a 200eur deposit you need to pay and that will be returned (I received mine less than a week after we checked-out). There is a whole procedure for the check-in where you need to send photos of you ID which makes sense and is for safety issue. I understand that if you wait until you are at the gate to do this, it will be a pain but if you are actually proactive and read your emails, it's not a problem. We had done the whoe, procedure the day before we arrived and had received the codes to enter the day of. It was completely fine. The only moment where we were unsure was to get into the actual building because we didn't understand at first that we needed to press two buttons at the same time but we eventually figured it out and everything was fine.

The location is great, the center of the city is easily reachable by the subway for ~20min, and the metro station is just 5-10mins by foot away from the building. The apartments have all the facilities needed for a normal few-days stay, it's warm and cosy, and the rooms are easily accessible by the lift in the buildings. There was an issue with one of the lifts before our arrival, and we received a new room in the other building without any extra costs, which was super nice by the staff and we really appreciate it :)
